Emily Lee is a co-founder and partner of Washingtonian Law. With her LL.B (Ewha Woman’s University, School of Law, Seoul, Korea) and LL.M (Georgetown Law, Washington, DC) degrees with focused studies in International Business Law, she has expertise in international estate planning and real estate transactions. She has helped her clients with short sale and foreclosure processing as well as bankruptcy filings. Emily also practices Elder Law by acting as a legal advisor for her clients on their estate planning, which involves creating appropriate revocable/irrevocable living trusts or last Wills to ensure her clients receive maximum benefits during their lifetime and inherit the residuary to their loved ones as they wish.
Emily’s multi-cultural background enables her to thoroughlyunderstand the differences in each culture’s tradition, belief and dynamics which are the most important factors in estate planning. She enjoys working with elders and loves to listen to their beautiful stories.
